Asian Correspondent published an article titled "10 Great Film Schools for International Students" in which it discusses the contemporary climate for film students and professionals. The article specifically mentions Concordia University's Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema among a list of prestigious international film schools, quoting the following:
"Canada's Concordia University hosts the prestigious Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema. The School is highly regarded in international circles as a university-based centre for the study of film animation, film production and film studies. It offers a range of undergraduate programs in these fields along with Art History and Film Studies.
